Measuring fiveinches in the closed position and weighing 8oz, this quite substantial knife holds a 3.5-inch 420HC stainless steel spear point blade. It features dual thumb studs, making one handed opening a cinch and there’s thumb ridging on the rear spine of the blade to give extra security in use. Measuring 3.75-inches in the closed position and weighing a mere 1.9oz the red (model shown) anodised aluminium and stainless steel handle with lock liner holds a three-inch Wharncliffe serrated 420HC stainless steel blade. Easy one handed opening is catered for by an elongated thumbhole and the open frame design of the handle makes it very easy to clean. Due to its compact lightweight dimensions, if you don’t want to carry a multi-tool that holds two blades, this is a ‘nifty’ option to have with you in case a serrated edge blade may be required.
