When it comes to a combination of visual style and clay shattering capabilities Fiocchi’s Golden Trap reign supreme, no Italian trap shooter would be seen dead without a glittering box of these top end cartridges. Seriously glamorous and possessed with a history nearly as volatile, each perfectly formed pellet of 7½ shot is gold anodized and located within a soft, gold coloured plaswad.

Choreographing an observed velocity of around 1,170 fps with a spread percentage in excess of 95% at the usual 30 yards, what the Golden Trap can occasionally lack in speed is made up for by the sheer quality, regularity and uniformity of pattern.

Similarly, you can shoot these cartridges all day long, with recoil at its most extreme a gentle push, particularly when used in a full blown trap gun. Golden Trap don’t come cheap though, each box of 25 relieving you of about £5.25p.
