Jack Pyke Spray on Fabric Waterproofer

To use this clever product, you simply shake the 500ml can and spray the item you want to waterproof from between 10 and 15cm away and let it dry – and that’s it.

The quick-drying formula, which uses nano technology, helps the fabric repel water so that it beads up and rolls away, rather than sinking into the fabric.

Although the fast drying spray on waterproofing may slightly darken some surfaces, it will not mark or change the feel of the fabric, and is said to be recommended for all clothing, tents and covers, including Gore-Tex, SympaTex and TriplePoint trade marked fabrics. One 500ml canister should treat 2 or 3 jackets or the equivalent amount of material.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the coverage, effectiveness and durability of the Jack Pyke Spray-on Fabric Waterproofer, which costs around £10 per 500ml can.
