Luger MM 6 X 18 Monocular

Luger MM 6 X 18 Monocular

Many hunters use a monocular for quick scans, rather than dedicated observation of an area for potential quarry, be that rabbit to deer. In that respect, the Luger MM 6 X 18 monocular is best suited for airgun use, not only due to its 6X fixed magnification, but moreover this compact oval shaped spotting aid measures only 75mm long X 35mm in diameter at its widest point and weighs a mere 76g. Luger claims it’s the ‘smallest spotting scope in the world.’

Weight reduction without sacrificing strength of build is achieved by using aluminium for the main body, with a black rubber protective cowl on the outer edge of the objective housing for protection against knocks. A rubber eyecup covers your eye from any side external light or rain. Spectacle wearers can roll down the rubber eyecup onto the main body.

The monocular offers a superb sight picture considering the small lenses thanks Luger’s high-grade coated glass. When rotated either clockwise or anti-clockwise, the eyecup also serves to fine focus onto a target or area whether close or far. Minimum focus range is approximately 4yds and rabbit size targets in reasonable light conditions are clearly visible over 200yds with field-of-view (FOV) being rated at 471ft @ 1000yds.

It comes with detachable hand lanyard, lens cloth cleaner, waterproof lined carry pouch and a 2-yr guarantee.  If you need a wider FOV the Luger MD 6 X 30 is the other option though more expensive with its larger objective lens.

The Luger MM 6 X 18 Monocular costs just £14.95. For details of your nearest stockist, contact Whitby & Co. on tel. 01539 721032 or visit their website at www.whitbyandco.co.uk
