Sigg Bottles are iconic, an eco friendly, tough and practical drinks container that has set the pattern for many an imitator, but has never really been beaten.
The “Special Edition” one-litre bottles are being produced to mark Sigg’s centenary and reflect the look and feel of the original 1908 design of Sigg Bottles. These are truly hard to get hold of but will be collectors’ pieces!
As with modern design Sigg bottles, the “Special Edition” bottles are made from a single piece of pure aluminium using eco-friendly minimum waste process and feature a seamless, leak-proof design with an easy-to-clean, crack-resistant lining which is suitable for any kind of drink (not just water). The lid has a “pour through” thread, a strong seal and a flip-over bail “handle”.
There are three designs including the plain “gunmetal” finish - I tried the “Mosaic”. With the Sigg Centenary logo, the Sigg “Special Edition” bottles cost around £8.99, look great and are as practical and tough as you would expect from Sigg Bottles!.
