The Klotzi Walker 06-C

Klötzi are a Swiss family firm of knife manufacturers that can trace their origins to the mid 19thC. This well established European company formed a working relationship with American knife designer, Michael Walker, in the early 1990’s, resulting in some very hi-tech folding knives – including the first linerlock.

With Michael Walker brilliance in design and Klotzi’s superior quality components and Swiss production methods, the Klötzi Walker 06-C was bound to be something special and it doesn’t disappoint. Introduced in 2006 this is a folding liner lock knife of the highest quality, featuring a 3” clip point blade made of 440C stainless steel.  The blade is engraved with the maker’s logo, Swiss Made, 440C and Walker Design.
A serrated section on the tang gives good close control of the blade for fine cutting tasks.

The satin grey titanium handles have cut out slots displaying the metallic blue titanium liners, which are also enhanced by the highly polished steel fittings. The axis pin runs on Teflon bearing giving a very smooth opening, enhanced by a discrete reversible thumb stud on the blade. The titanium lock up is secure yet easily released when required.

The grip has a ‘Klotzi’ engraved stainless pocket clip with the Swiss cross, and the knife is supplied with a black leather pouch. The Klotzi Walker 06 is a high quality, good looking tool that would be well capable of most cutting tasks that you would expect to tackle with a gentleman’s knife, but quite honestly it would be a shame to use it. The whole knife gives off an air of precision engineering, and this is exactly what you are paying for with a Klötzli knife.
