Rangemaster King Pellets

Rangemaster King Pellets

story continues below...

As Daystate has expanded its range of specialist airguns, the need has arisen for correspondingly good ammunition. Many of their models are available in FAC format too, offering the user with the necessary paperwork the opportunity to use airguns generating massive foot poundage! Lead pellets need to be robust to withstand the operating pressures and air blast, which is where the Rangemaster King pellets play their part.
Manufactured to Daystate’s specifications in the Czech Republic by JSB, the mix of just the right amount of lead and antimony means these pellets are softer than some alternatives, allowing them to mate perfectly with the rifling. Quality of manufacture and close tolerances are everything we expect from JSB, but the profile is a departure.
The King has a very short, shallow domed head, and very gradually angled sides. The skirt is also very short, and past the flattened-off internal divide, it’s one solid body. More boat tail than waisted, offering an interesting alternative.
These pellets are substantially heavier than conventional designs, given their intended FAC duties, yet are well worth experimenting with for predetermined range work/hunting scenarios at lower power too.
In short, quality ammo inspires confidence, and the ‘King’ has already made a name for itself.
