Almost 5,000 try shooting in 2016 with BASC’s shooting simulator
  • Almost 5,000 people tried shooting sports in 2016 using BASC’s state-of-the-art shooting simulator. BASC took the simulator to more than 30 events in 2016 including game fairs, county shows, courses, schools, political party conferences and a series of national sports roadshows. It is also available for private hire and corporate events such as weddings, conferences and AGMs.

  • The ST-2 simulator – the most realistic on the market – helps to provide a professional introduction to shotgun shooting. Peter Marshall, BASC’s sporting services officer, said: “The ST-2 gives people an opportunity to try shooting using a computer simulator. We are delighted to have helped so many people get their first taste of shooting sports and build on existing skills.”

  • Duncan Greaves, a member of BASC Council and a BASC-accredited shotgun coach, said: “The simulator is an excellent way of introducing newcomers to shooting. It is also great for experienced shooters to analyse their shooting in fine detail, with the simulator’s analytical tools and replay function. We received very positive feedback from everyone who has used the simulator.”
