Jack Pyke Digicam Clothing

When Jack Pyke first introduced their Digicam camo design, it was via the launch of a useful softshell Jacket that has already been featured in these pages. Due to the popularity of the camo, the company has now expanded the range to include other garments.

Top shop

First up is the Digicam T-Shirt and Armour Top. As many will know, both have long been available in English Oak Evolution, so a quick summary is all that’s required of these time-tested items.

Both are manufactured from what is termed 100% Polyester Tech Mesh, which is fast wicking and enables the wearer to remain comfortable and dry under exertion. The Armour Top has a ¼ length neck zip that provides additional temperature control.

The two tops are not only suited for the shooting or hunting fraternity but will also work well for anglers or airsoft enthusiasts.

Match up

The Jack Pyke Softshell Digicam Trousers are cleverly designed to complement the Digicam Jacket, not only due to the highly effective camo pattern but also in material build.

Like the Jacket, the softshell trousers are manufactured using a 95% polyester/5% spandex blend, giving them those valuable windproof, breathable, and waterresistant attributes. In fact, the trousers bare the acclaimed and much muted ‘Wind Blocker’ denotation.

They feature a waistband with large belt loops and fasten via a full zipped fly with press stud fastening. Storage is catered for by 2x side pockets, 2x zipped back pockets and 2x press- stud cargo leg pockets. They also have an action cut with strengthening contrasting knee panels.

There are also two items of headwear; a standard design Stealth Baseball Hat and a cleverly designed Balaclava. The softshell baseball cap in Digicam uses the 95%/5% spandex build to be breathable and waterresistant.

It features

integrated air vent holes in the top and has a plastic, multi-position, snap closure adjustment at the rear for a one-size-fits-all facility.

The Jack Pyke Stealth Balaclava is perfect when the task requires additional concealment of the face. As you’ll notice in the title, the company have used their highly respected Stealth material for its build, which means it’s soft to the touch, breathable, quick-drying and silent in use. Also, due to the flexible capabilities of the material, it can be worn as a neck gaiter or as a standard, full-face balaclava with nose concealment. It can be worn all year round, providing warmth in the wintertime and cooling in the summer.

As for the camo, Digicam is a computergenerated pixelated blend of earth tones that allows concealment at various distances. At close range, it shows small and more detailed shapes and at larger distances, those shapes blend together to create a larger pattern.
