The warm, soft 300g thermal fleece is just the right thickness to add a bit of warmth over a long sleeved base layer but not too bulky to wear as part of a layered approach to thermal insulation below a coat or smock. There are two deep zippered pockets above the waist, ideal for small items or keeping your hands warm. The double opening zip at the front is bi-directional with a high collar giving extra warmth around the neck and chin area. Border piping adds to the smart look as well as preventing the zip from chafing the chin.
