Whether outside for a day shooting, or sitting by a lake fishing, enjoyment can simply come down to preparation. Outdoor sport is all about the kit after all, and just keeping our digits and head warm when the temperature drops, can make a massive difference. Warm hands allow us to properly function, and Jack Pyke’s Suede Palm Shooter’s Mitts are a great asset to have as a backup in a coat pocket or backpack for when our sensitivity starts to fail.
The Mitts are the timehonoured, classic design of fingerless glove that can convert into a full mitten, as the top flap pulls down when required, over the fingers. The top mitten flap is held back with velcro and features soft cosy thermal ‘Thinsulate’material inside. This also lines the inside of the main glove section, which is all made from 100% Acrylic incidentally, rather than wool. Both palms and thumbs feature large panels of suede, and this brings extra protection and of course grip. Exposed fingers mean easy handling of pellets, and also full trigger sensitivity. These gloves are super snug, highly versatile, and great value.
