Viper Tactical Gloves

Viper is the Tactical brand of Thatchreed Ltd and I choose these particular gloves as they’re not similar in any way except the Viper Fingerless and Viper Assault Gloves are manufactured from quality leather and all have a level of internal padding.

Viper Assault Gloves

The Assault gloves are quite plain with a slightly elasticated small border hem at the wrist; the secret they hold is that they feature a Kevlar slash resistant lining – so no accidents when gralloching or brush clearance and hide building. 

Viper Fingerless Gloves

These Fingerless gloves offer a good level of protection when crawling or moving over rough ground, using fences to steady yourself as you walk alongside. The leather is strong yet supple, the outer extra padding is seen as raised ‘nubs’ that run down the cut fingers and thumb, while at the back is a nicely sized fairly rigid panel that you’ll soon appreciate and they feature strong Velcro fastening straps at the cuffs and a rear Velcro fasten cinch strap. The soft synthetic material on the front of the cut’ fingers, thumbs and palms gives additional grip.

The Viper Special OPS Gloves

The Special OPS Gloves are a more universal higher quality shooting glove in design and are available in black, olive green or sand. Manufactured from advanced composite materials and suede, these gloves are lightweight, tough and quick drying.

The front of the trigger fingers and palms are made of tactile, strong, water resistant suede with a Lycra/Nylon mix for the rear of the gloves and down the back of the fingers. They’re also strengthened with side sections of suede panelling which is designed to come over the back of the glove to give protection to the knuckles. The overall design offers a good level of adjustment and security.  They fasten to the wrists by an adjustable wrist support and hand adjustment band - one of the most effective designs of Velcro securing strap.  They also utilise a suede pull over cinch strap to tighten the rear sections just above the broad cuff strap. This offers a high level of wrist support and the lightweight advanced composite materials found in key areas are forgiving for wearer comfort and also offer quick drying properties.
