Gun TV shows ~ "Family Guns", "American Guns" & more..
Just wondered if anyone else is into these two shows at all or any other gun related programmes you may care to mention.
"Family Guns" is on Sky channel "NatGeo" (526) on Thursdays at 8pm and "American Guns" is on "Discovery" (520) at 10pm on Mondays.
Both excellent programmes for gun enthusiasts.
"American Guns" is about a family run gunshop and is very interesting imo as there is a lot of gun smithing involved in what they do and custom work which is great to watch.
"Family Guns" though is about a family run buy & sell militaria outlet. Basically all sorts of military weapons and equipment. Still very interesting.
Worth a watch if you haven't seen either yet.

I liked American Guns because quite often they built guns from the ground up using metal blanks. They didn't show you all the machining involved but you did get to watch a lot of the work involved which I found really interesting.
Also the owners son did some of the best engraving I've ever witnessed being done and I thought he was very talented.
Doubt they'll ever be a British gun show on our TV's as there is too much negative press on shooting sports and it's doubtful any production companies would take on making it.
