I've owned a Magtech 7022 .22 semi auto for several years, which has served me well in short range bunny bashing around a couple of my more overgrown permissions, but the lack of feel in the trigger and the Magtech's light weight has caused me to pull shots when shooting to hand.
The bad weather of late has allowed me to remedy this by fitting a sling. Check out.
Improved Magtech 7022 (Mossberg 702) field test. I've also smoothed the trigger pull by applying valve grinding paste to the trigger hammer and catch mechanism, constant working of the trigger over an hour, while applying paste, smoothing the rough surfaces.
I've adjusted the sling so that the rifle swings up easily to hand, while giving support from my shoulder to the front end. A great improvement on targets, as there were no rabbits about, but got a couple pf pigeons.
