This film outlines some of the locations and details the history of role they played. The presenter has an engaging style which holds the viewer’s attention as he moves from one site to another. It is a fascinating film which uses maps to indicate each location and one can use this to visit the spot for themselves. Air bases, military camps and supply dumps were all camouflaged by the dense foliage of the trees. Pillboxes and Home Guard defences dot the area and first-hand accounts make this a historical site which will still be revealing its secrets for many years to come.
