British Military Intelligence: Objects from the Military Intelligence Museum

Now and again, a book comes along which is geared to the militaria collector. This is one such title and it is a remarkably interesting work. The author gives a brief introductory background history on the regiment of the Intelligence Corps, before going on to look at a series of items from the collection held by the regimental museum. Items are identified which will help the militaria collector and the background details provide some surprising stories. In this book, the reader will discover part of the history of possibly the British army’s quietest regiment, whose services go largely un-noticed, but without whose work there would be no success on the battlefield. Some of the items listed here will be familiar but it is the less familiar, which is interesting. There is much more to discover about the regiment and this work will encourage the reader to visit the museum to find out, details of which can be found on the Internet.
