This work examines the giants of WWII and the author comes up with some surprises such as the Japanese ‘I-O’ designs which was in excess of 100 tons.
Modellers are familiar with the giant German ‘Maus’ and ‘E-100’ projects but in this work they will find plans which will surprise even them. Some Allied designs made it into the post-war years and can be seen in museums today but other monster tanks from France and Russia will fascinate students of armoured warfare.
Excellent artwork and illustrations make this a nicely well-rounded work which will interest war gamers, modellers and military historians alike.
