BKL 1” Double Strap Ring Mounts

The airgunner requires a good quality mount for their scope/ rifle combo, as does the centrefire rifle shooter. A name worth consideration, amongst the other quality manufacturers, is BKL. Their innovative products are among some of the best quality available and are constructed from aircraft grade aluminium. They manufacture a range of mounts, bases and accessories for the discerning shooter, including their 1” double strap design, which gives more clamping area on the scope’s body tube. As per usual with BKL, these mounts need to be slid onto the dovetail rails from one end. If the mounts don’t initially fit, as they usually come a tad snug. To sort this, the base screws are removed and placed into the spreader holes to widen the gap, then it can be positioned and clamped securely into position. Removal means the same job in reverse. They are available in either anodised matt black or silver (plain aluminium), in either medium or high specifications, so plenty of versatility too. All very neat, highly effective and beautifully made, as expected from this prestigious brand name.
