Sightron S3 Tactical Turrets

The Sightron SIII series of scopes has built a solid reputation over the years, being well made and priced. Excellent optical clarity means they punch well above their weight, competing with more expensive brands. They offer the usual features: fast focus eye piece, parallax adjustment, 1st and 2nd focal plane reticles and their tactical turrets with ExacTrack windage and elevation adjustment.

However, a common complaint has been the turret markings, especially the windage which until recently has not been updated to keep up with the demands of the modern shooter.

Previously when zeroed it would allow you to work your way up the values in one direction from say 1 to 14, but if used in the opposite direction you would have to work from 14 to 1! Which does not make it easy for the shooter when making multiple windage adjustments.

This has now been resolved as Sightron offers a selection of retrofit tactical elevation and windage turrets that now offer values from low to high in BOTH directions and are and are engraved in the choice of MOA and MRAD notation.
