Hawke Adaptor Base - 11mm Picatinny

We take for granted the incredible choice of shooting accessories and hardware available today, but with that abundance of kit often comes frustration and confusion, and the choice of scope mounts and mounting systems is a classic example. Many rifles come fitted with conventional dovetails, but an increasing number of shooters are using Weaver/Picatinny style mounts on particular rifles. Once we need to quickly switch a scope from one gun to the next, it can prove an irritating exercise. This rail is also ideal for mounting Night Vision optics.

Hawke’s Adaptor Base rail is a very neat solution for shooters who want to use the same mounts from one gun to the next, and effectively allows Picatinny mounting systems to be quickly mounted onto a gun with 11mm (3/8-inch) dovetail rails. It’s a one-piece design that has four clamping screws, and it even features an arrestor screw for those who feel they need it. The base weighs 3.4oz and is 6.8-inches long, whilst the actual clamping section is only 4.3-inches, effectively allowing for a mounting area to be increased.
