Stalker

When I looked over the Carbine Razorback a while back, I was interested to see how they’d upgrade the ‘rucksack’ type carrying harness ? tted to the Stalker version.

Primarily designed for the shooter who wants to carry his gun ‘hands-free’ in complete safety while negotiating rough terrain, the Stalker measures 50” long by 12” at its widest point, and has all the features that make the Razorback range so tough . It has a waterproof and abrasion resistant ‘LAMTEC’ canvas outer, which also includes 4 functional layers; an extra waterproof membrane, a high density 10mm foam, an EVA tough shell and a soft Syn-fl eece lining to cosset the rifle once inside. An internal butt end ‘protector retainer’ pouch and retainer strap holds the gun in place. The EVA lateral spine is the source of the bag’s strength while the outer panels of ‘Armour Flex’ positioned at the front rear and middle areas give extra padding including scuff protection. The ‘slot in’ Grip Lock ABS carry handle is the same secure design as seen on the other Razorback bags whilst a comfortable non-slip adjustable shoulder strap with a sliding rubber shoulder pad offers even more comfort. Now we come to the major feature that sets the Stalker apart from the other gunbags in the Napier range – the rucksack style carrying harness. In-keeping with the ‘single’ shoulder strap on the spine it’s manufactured from the same materials – colour co-ordinated Polyester - and both main straps of the harness have comfortable sliding rubber shoulder pads. It’s fully adjustable and detachable, and combined with the ABS fastening chest strap it makes the Stalker of the most comfortable types gunbags to carry. Heavy duty rubberised grip tag zip fasteners aid opening and a unique Weather Shield Guard protects the self-healing zip from scuffs, knocks, mud and rain. A generous 13.5” x 6” outer pocket uses the same unique zip design and the bag comes with a sachet of Napier VP90 corrosion inhibitor to further protect your rifle and a 5-year Warranty.
