With the growing interest in specially trained deer dogs, British stalkers were looking to the Continent for equipment where tracking dogs have been part of the hunting scene for generations. Now the European hunter’s favourite tracking harness is available in the UK, thanks to Midlands-based distributors Garlands.
Developed in association with professional deer dog handlers, the Niggeloh Blood Tracking Harness lets your dog work in comfort, but is strong, robust and highly visible. The neoprene-padded design is based on a sled dog harness, and fits the dog’s anatomy perfectly.
Made of rugged yet lightweight materials, the harness is waterproof and easy to clean after a hard day’s work. The belly strap is adjustable for a perfect fit and has two quick release snaps. There are lead attachment swivels at top and bottom, with a secure park position for each swivel when not in use.
The Niggeloh Blood Tracking Harness comes in four sizes, S, M, L and XL, to fit any dog from terrier to bloodhound, and costs £103.95.
