Kleen Kanteen TK Wide Flask

US company, Klean Kanteen has brought us a host of innovative insulated drinking vessels for keeping liquids and food hot. Recently, they brought us the TKWide insulated range of flasks, which all feature their revolutionary TK Closure internal thread design and Climate Lock doublewall vacuum insulation.

The latest addition is the Klean Kanteen TKWide Insulated Flask with Twist Cap. The USP of these models (of which there are three sizes and various colour options) is the very ingenious leak-proof twist cap system that also includes a carry loop.

The main screw-top fill point can remain closed because an ABS collar at the very top of the cap can be turned to reveal a pop-up tubular rubber mouthpiece. This is attached internally to a built-in, reusable, stainless-steel tube/straw that extends to the very bottom of the flask. This unique design results in these flasks being able to keep drinks hotter or colder longer than ever before.

A hot drink will maintain its temperature for almost 48hrs, depending on how many times you use the Twist Cap to take a drink. The flask is manufactured from 18/8 food-grade stainless steel, is BPA free, has a chip-resistant Klean Coat matte finish, plus won’t retain or impart flavours to the drink stored. It’s also dishwasher safe.

Incidentally, for those who already own TKWide flasks with the Café Cap or standard Loop Cap fitted, the Twist Cap and straw can be purchased separately.
