CZ launches brand new range of big game rifles: Safari Classics II

Award-winning Czech gunmaker Česká Zbrojovka (CZ) has launched a range of rifles aimed at big game hunters, the Safari Classics II. Exclusively distributed in the UK by Edgar Brothers, the CZ Safari Classics II are accurate and tough enough for any hunter aiming their sights at big game. The rifles have a built-in kick-stop to aid in reducing recoil, essential for when a follow-up shot is required for big or dangerous game. The Safari Classics II are built to CZ’s famously exacting standards, including the choice of wood for the stocks, which is of high-quality premium Turkish walnut and available either in a matte oiled finish with a matte barrel or a gloss finish with a gloss barrel. The stocks have stunning ebony detailing and 360˚ chequering to the grip surfaces, ensuring positive and secure handling.

The barrel is hand-fitted, so there are minimal clearances for bolt operation, making it both fast and intuitive to handle. Thanks to the express sights, the rifle has a classic look, but makes full use of modern technology, using a hi-tech anti-corrosion surface treatment and a barrelled action with an extremely durable and strong layer of “Diamond Like Carbon”. The rifle is glass-bedded and silent in its operation, a vital attribute for hunting big or dangerous game. A floor plate magazine holds between three and five rounds depending on the calibre.
