Clenzoil first came to the attention of GMK when the workshop began using it. So impressed were they by the effects that it is now their product of choice on both working, metallurgical mechanisms and wood. The results speak for themselves.

Clenzoil’s special formula effectively removes oils, dirt, lead, plastic wad and many other contaminants. It simultaneously provides a thin, non-greasy coating that prevents rust and lubricates all moving parts. Unlike most oils it repels dirt and will not get ‘gummy’ or ‘snotty’. It categorically does not harm case-colouring, gold inlays, camo-coatings or wood stocks. In fact it actively preserves wood stocks and grips, leather holsters and slings too. Clenzoil was created by Captain Ellis Christian Lenz, after his return from World War II. He was determined to create a product which would ensure that no firearm would ever underperform or be unable to function in the tough conditions he had experienced, thus causing loss of life. It was a gargantuan task but in 1948 his ‘Field and Range’ product was launched and has quite simply never looked back. In fact, over the last 67 years the ensuing range of products have achieved an almost cult like status among armed forces worldwide, with many special forces units refusing to use anything but Clenzoil. However, its application is not limited to firearms! On an almost daily basis Clenzoil receive emails, letters, phone calls, informing them of new uses for this green elixir!

By definition Clenzoil is a broad based “application” product that cleans, lubricates and protects/inhibits rust, and can be applied to any known metallurgical surface.
