RBSS tests game shooters with new simulated competition offering top prize fund

  • An exciting new simulated game shooting competition, The Royal Flush, has been announced by The Royal Berkshire Shooting School which offers entrants the chance to win one of five amazing luxury sporting holidays for eight Guns as the top prize, as well as £1,000 cash for each top Gun on the five stands. Opening on Monday 6 November and closing on Saturday 24 February, each entrant must shoot 100 targets off five sequences: The Purdey Grouse, the Sunseeker Tower, the Chase Distillery Partridge, the Boodles La Mancha and the AON Walk Up. The sequences reflect the amazing choice for top prize: a day’s grouse shooting at Bransdale, Yorkshire, a day’s driven pheasant at Lyneham, Devon, a Spanish partridge day in Madrid or Mallorca, a driven partridge day at Prescombe, Wiltshire, and a week’s mixed sport at Novar, Invernessshire. The prize is for eight Guns and includes accommodation, and the top scorer to get more than 92x100 in the Grand Final will be able to pick their preferred destination. The top 30 entrants will qualify for the final, with a shoot-off taking place if there is a tie to qualify. To win the holiday, the successful entrant needs to obtain a score of at least 92x100 during the final. The top scorer for each sequence in the qualifying rounds will win £1,000. The top prize is not open to anyone who has represented their country in the Olympics, nor to previous winners of The Stratstone Super 7, Ultimate Pair or Ultimate One, however all are eligible for the £1,000 stand prizes. Dylan Williams, managing director of the Royal Berkshire Shooting School, said: “The Royal Flush is a brilliant competition, and the prizes reflect that – the sporting holidays really are the stuff dreams are made of. We are incredibly grateful to our five amazing sponsors who are making this exciting new competition possible. The prizes on offer are some of the best we’ve ever had, and I’m looking forward to the final, when we should see some spectacular shooting.” For more information, visit www.rbss.co.uk.
