Vinnie Jones visits Eley Hawk Ltd and signs up as a Brand Ambassador

Vinnie Jones visited Eley Hawk on the 25th April and dropped in on his way back from the red carpet film launch in Leeds for the new Film Do You Want To win charting the rise of Leeds United from the second division to the premier league under manager Howard Wilkinson. Vinnie Jones a long time game shooter shot his first pigeon with an Eley Cartridge and he has a deep affection for the cartridges that he grew up with “Eley Cartridges were the only brand for me to really go shooting with and they always did the job well.” “It’s the only brand that is really part of shooting in the UK for me and that’s what I am passionate about.

“Shooting has been a part of the fabric of the UK for such a long time and not many celebrities are willing to step up and promote the positive benefits of shooting. For me it’s been a constant past time in my life and a great way for me to get a sense of perspective in my life when I have need it most”. Speaking about game shooting – “I am passionate about encouraging the next generation”, “I have also been to do a talk to young game keepers studying at Sparsholt College game keepers are the backbone of the UK game shooting and perform a vital task in both conservation and keeping the countryside alive”. He continued “I have run my own game shoots in the past and really know what is involved and the challenges they face and appreciate the effort they put in day in day out to make it work so well.” Vinnie continued “One of the things that impressed me about Eley Hawk lately is their obvious passion to expand the shooting sports. The support of the BASC young shots days and huge commitment they put in with BASC when they supplied all the cartridges for 7000 Scouts to shoot at the Essex International Jamboree there is lots going on to be proud of”.
