The 17 HMR is the newest Ruger Precision rimfire rifle and comes with the new BX-15 Magnum magazine, holding 15-rounds. The 17 HMR maintains the same ergonomics and trigger as the .22 LR Ruger Precision Rifle.
The moulded, one-piece chassis and adjustable buttstock assembly are manufactured with glass-filled nylon for strength, stiffness and stability, making a solid foundation for accuracy each and every shot. The metal QD pocket makes it easy to secure a sling and the Quick-Fit adjustable Precision Rimfire stock allows length of pull and comb height to be quickly and easily adjusted to get proper fit over a wide range of shooter sizes, outerwear and shooting positions. You can quickly return to a previous position using the indicating marks moulded into the chassis.
