Hawke Tactical Laser Kit

Hawke Tactical Laser Kit

There’s even an extra Weaver rail mount included should you wish to fit the laser direct to a Weaver/Picatinny style rail. A rear mounted on/off switch is supplied along with a remote pressure pad switch for attaching to the stock forend. Power is taken from 3X LR44 batteries (supplied) and the laser has a 50m range. Dot size is 10mm at 10m so ideal for close range rat shooting and feral pigeon culling with an air rifle, when you require a quick aid to access range or as a secondary zero if set for a closer range than the scope zero.

As regular readers will know, airgun hunter Pete Wadeson is a big fan of lasers for certain airgun hunting applications and his opinion was this. ‘I’ve used a Hawke laser now for more than 12-months on my custom Weihrauch Bullpup HW80K and for the roles it fulfils it does them admirably. Also consider that’s on a recoiling spring gun. I’ve found it easy to adjust using the twin recessed grub screws and lock screw and the dot isn’t overly large for close range work.’

As a matter of interest a 30mm scope mount is available for £5.95 from Deben, as are packs of 10X LR44 batteries. This is a simple, basic, yet very useful laser kit for the airgun hunter or plinker.

The Hawke Tactical Laser Kit costs £29.95 and is available from most good gunshops.
