Plano Shooters Case

A gun should be cleaned immediately after shooting, particularly if it has got wet, but carrying a full cleaning kit can be a real pain so we often leave it until we get home. With this in mind, Plano has come up with a way to carry a full cleaning station in a compact and portable case.

The Plano Shooters Case has a large main compartment and two lift-out trays. Much of the space is taken up by two yokes that attach to the ends of the box to form a very stable, staggered, gun rest. Fortunately, the two trays are big enough to hold everything you might need, making this a complete and self-contained ‘cleaning station’. However, maybe Plano missed a trick here as there is plenty of room on the outside of the case to attach the yokes, freeing up space inside.

The box is reasonably priced, well built and extremely durable, with large latches securing the lid and trays to the main body. The top carry handle is large enough to use with gloves and it folds down when not in use. The case is large enough to hold everything you need for cleaning a gun and compact enough to stow in the boot of your vehicle. It’s an ideal way of ensuring you can clean your gun anywhere.
