  • 23rd: Saturday. The IWM Duxford, Cambs, CB22 4QR is hosting an air show called ‘Flying Days: The Americans’ to celebrate the US Air Force in Britain from WWII, with a range of historic aircraft. www.iwm.org.uk

  • 31st: Sunday. The Miliboot Militaria Boot Fair is being held at the Bell Public House, Woodham Ferrers, Essex, CM3 8RF. This is a car boot for militaria collectors that's organised by the Essex HMVA. www.essexhmva.co.uk

  • Other Events. The National Army Museum in Chelsea, London has an exhibition called ‘Foe to Friend: The British Army in Germany since 1945’ and it is running until the 21st of August 2024. This is an opportunity to see how the British Army was deployed to central Europe during the period known as ‘The Cold War’. www.nam.ac.uk
