WE Airsoft Europe (Part 2)

WE Airsoft Europe (Part 2)

Last month I gave some general background on how the team at WE Airsoft Europe are changing the very face of the airsoft market with replicas that are available to players in the UK. Not only have they dotted all the legal ‘i’s in relation to the replica guns themselves, but they’ve also crossed all the ‘t’s when it comes to all the accessories too with the introduction of their own NUPROL Brand.

Let’s take a quick look at what is already available. NUPROL is a brand designed and formulated to exceed all current airsoft industry standards; this is something that WE EU are very proud of, and so they should be. It is genuinely important to them that they design their products from the ground up to help improve the overall airsoft experience.

It’s a Gas

First up is gas; WE Airsoft Europe offer some of the finest gas powered replicas available, so who better to develop a family of gas products that are of consistent high-quality and actually take into account climatic conditions encountered in the UK and Europe. NUPROL 2.0 & 3.0 have hit the market and are already the bestselling gasses in the UK, with the rest of Europe close behind. These gases are very important to WE Europe’s mission as they have been formulated especially to outperform any other gas on the market to date, and airsofters are finding the NUPROL gas a ‘go to’ product for all their gas replicas regardless of brand. NUPROL 2.0 has been specifically designed as a replacement for standard airsoft green gasses and it boasts a significant increase in overall performance.

One thing that is instantly noticeable when using NUPROL 2.0 is its improvement in recoil and gas efficiency while keeping a stable FPS of around 330FPS using a WE Airsoft Europe Pistol model.

NUPROL 3.0, meanwhile, is a revolutionary gas specifically designed for use in cold weather; this comes in very handy when dealing with the European market as many of the countries suffer long term colder weather. NUPROL 3.0 uses new gas filling technology and additives to achieve a similar performance to that of NUPROL 2.0 at 25c but at 15c and below. A lot of research and work has gone into formulating NUPROL 3.0 and I’m already seeing great results as we head into the colder months of the year. It’s a must have product for all year GBB airsoft players.

Oil and Batteries

As well as the gases, NUPROL also offers a silicone spray. NUPROL Silicone Gun Oil is designed for maintenance use on all gas airsoft guns and many other applications, this silicone lubricant is highly effective for all the seals and internals of any gas airsoft replicas and also produces a fine high-sheen finish that protects the external surfaces from moisture and dirt, eliminating rusting and corrosion.

Many of us are still running electric guns, so NUPROL Extreme Power batteries have been specifically designed for use in airsoft replicas; again NUPROL designed from the ground up to achieve the best possible performance. Most if not all the batteries in the airsoft market are rebranded from the RC market, and this can be a major ache when trying to find a battery that will fit into a specific airsoft replica. NUPROL batteries have been designed specifically for this purpose, meaning that WE EU are able to release batteries with a very high mAh rating but in a compact, cleverly designed size.

Ammo!

story continues below...

Of course we all need something to fire from our replicas, don’t we? As I write NUPROL have just released their own range of premium diamond grade airsoft BBs, called NUPROL 6mm. These BBs are of the highest quality and will be available in many different weights. NUPROL 6mm goes through the toughest quality checks and polishing to achieve maximum performance. NUPROL BBs will also feature a unique feature for .2g, .25g and .28g variants of the ammo, each weight will feature a slight tint of colour depending on the weight so that it is easy for the player to distinguish the difference visually. There will be 10 different lines of ammo available which include:

* Diamond Grade 0.2g, 0.25g, 0.28g

* Heavy Weight Diamond Grade 0.30g, 0.32g, 0.36g

* ULTRA Heavy Weight Diamond Grade 0.40g, 0.43g

* TRACER Diamond Grade 0.20g, 0.25g

One more thing to note about these BBs is that all the heavy and ultra-heavy weight BBs will be in Solid White. WE Airsoft Europe have worked darn hard to achieve this and I can totally understand why they’re so happy to announce that they hold full European exclusivity for this style of BB. NUPROL 6mm BBs are going to be very competitively priced even though they are of such high-quality, and I’m looking forward to getting hands-on with these soon.

Camo Colours

And there’s still more to report right now! NUPROL has also recently released a new line of paints called NUPROL UFP (Ultra Flat Paint). Like all NUPROL products these paints have been formulated specifically for the airsoft market and have been released in four earth colours: Flat Dark Earth (tan), Black, Green (OD), and Brown (Earth Brown). These paints have been designed so that airsofters can paint their weapons in an array of colours and patterns and I have to say from experience that the four colours released are indeed the ones I use most!

What’s Next?

There is a lot more planned for NUPROL over the coming months – they currently have a number of product lines in the early development stage, but as I said, I’ve been sworn to secrecy. Rest assured though that if even half of what they’re working on right now comes to market, there are a lot of you out there that are going to be very pleased they put so much effort into simply getting things right.

I am certain that WE Airsoft Europe and NUPROL will continue to push the boundaries of European airsoft and continue to innovate and change the market for the benefit of all people involved in the industry, and I look forward to reporting back on their inevitable progress as they do!
