Savage launches 40 new products at SHOT Show to celebrate its 125th anniversary

  • American firearms manufacturer Savage Arms is celebrating its 125th anniversary year with the launch of 40 new products at SHOT Show in Las Vegas. The brand, distributed to gun shops throughout the UK by leading wholesaler Edgar Brothers, is celebrating the historic anniversary by offering a range of limited edition rifles. The highlights will be an engraved Model 110 collector's rifle, a limited edition rimfire rifle and a limited edition centrefire rifle, each marked with a special 125th anniversary seal. All told, there are 40 new firearms in a variety of gauges and calibres. “It’s another huge year for Savage,” said Beth Shimanski, Savage’s director of marketing. “We are excited to deliver another year of innovative firearms in many calibre and gauge options. Whether you are looking for a training rifle for young shooters, a competition-grade modern sporting rifle, a reliable shotgun for hunting or personal defence or a lightweight hunting rifle packaged with a scope: Savage has those needs covered, plus more.” Savage Arms was founded in 1894 by Arthur William Savage in Utica, New York, and is now part of the huge Vista Outdoor portfolio of popular outdoor brands. Today, Savage operates two factories, one in the USA and one in Canada. Savage is now one of the world’s largest manufacturers of rifles and shotguns dedicated to hunting, competition, defence and having fun at the range.
