The new year brings a new location for Holts’ quarterly auctions

  • After more than 10 years of holding their auctions at Princess Louise House in Hammersmith, London, Holts Auctioneers is relocating to a new London-based saleroom at Holly Hedge House, Blackheath with effect from March 2018. Holts Auctioneers has been holding their auctions in London since 1996, first at the Duke of York’s barracks on King’s Road, before moving to the active Ministry of Defence cadet base, and then Princess Louise House in 2006. However with the re-assignment of the base for use by active regiment, a new secure and suitably equipped saleroom was required. The new venue offers unrivalled access for clients and ample free parking. Four bus routes can be accessed within 500 yards of the site and Lewisham station is just 800 yards to the southwest, with Blackheath Station and Greenwich DLR, a 12-minute walk away.

  • Nicholas Holt, managing director of Holts Auctioneers, commented: “Holly Hedge House is a fantastic new location for our auctions and we are really excited to be moving there. A re-purposing of our current saleroom impelled us to find a new location – and being managed by the same company as Princess Louise House, there is a comfortable continuity both in terms of the space itself and the facilities available. It has excellent access to public transport with the added advantage of free parking for those who prefer to travel by car. It’s a home from home – but just a bit bigger and better!” Holts Auctioneers next auction at Princess Louise House in London is on Thursday 14th December 2017.
