Leatherman Tread Multi tool

There is no shortage of multi-tools on the market and it can be difficult to find something ‘different’, but here we have a very unusual item from Leatherman.

The Tread carries a multitude of useful tools in a ‘bracelet’ format, so it can be worn around the wrist rather than being carried on your belt or in your bag. At 5.5oz it’s not light, but it is very easy to get used to and you soon forget you are wearing it, much like a wristwatch. Being attached to you, the Tread is hard to mislay and always to hand, very clever thinking from Leatherman here.

Incorporating 29 individual tools, the entire bracelet is made of stainless steel and is fully adjustable, with the facility to add or remove tools to customise it to your specific needs. It’s constructed in such a way that it is silent, with no jangling to disturb the wildlife, and there are no sharp edges sticking out to snag on anything.

As well as a variety of screwdrivers, hex drive and Torx heads, there is a welldesigned cutting hook that is very sharp but contained in a very safe and secure way.
