Q. Delivery charges apply for orders under £250. ‘Restrictions apply' – what does that mean?
A. Delivery is FOC for orders over £250. However, we only deliver to areas that we have activated. Unfortunately, some will be excluded, including the Highlands and Islands. If there is enough interest, we hope to include Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh postcodes.
Q. If an order is under £250, then how much is delivery?
A. £29
Q. Is there a minimum order as to quantity?
A. No, only the aforementioned minimum order value.
Q. Time from placing order to delivery and is this guaranteed?
A. It is a weekly delivery service, operating at weekends for the most part, maybe outside of that if appropriate. The cut off for ordering will be noon on the Thursday beforehand.
Q. Can you pick a delivery time?
A. Delivery slots are allocated on a round and cannot be selected at this stage. As demand grows, there will be the opportunity to consider adding time windows. The service will, however, provide real-time timed-tracking and a confirmed delivery time on the Friday will be sent out regarding the weekend delivery.
Q. Do you pay up front or on delivery?
A. There is no payment on delivery for legal reasons. On completing the registration, the order can be made, and payment is made via the website, subject to our terms and conditions.
Q. I assume that the delivery guy will have to enter the ammo on your ticket, or do you send it in and they fill it in before delivery?
A. The ammo is entered on the ticket by our RFD servant delivering the goods.
Q. What recourse is there if the order is wrong?
A. All orders are subject to the distance selling regulations, which gives the customers a seven-day cooling off period.
Q. What brands and calibres do you stock?
A. As many current brands and calibres as possible. There will be additional brands added, subject to demand. If there is something a customer needs, we will try and source it for them.
Q. You mention price matching; how does that work?
A. We aim to match our competitors advertised prices for items that are advertised openly to the public, if they are available for purchase in their local post code area, are not subject to any other purchase, delivery or other charges and not purposely or unlawfully/anti-competitively discounted pursuant to local/ EU competition law.
Q. What about returns?
A. We will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship. Fulfillment mistakes that may be made, which result in the shipment of incorrect products to the customer, will also be accepted for return. The customer will need to arrange and pay for the products to be returned to us either via a local RFD or we will collect them at our cost incurred or standard delivery rate, whichever is the greater. For ease, this can be orgainsed using our RMA process on the website.
Q. What information do you need to complete full registration and begin ordering?
A. We must establish that the customer has the authority to purchase what they are ordering. The first stage of verification requires the uploading a copy of authorisation (FAC/SGC) before an attempt to place an order. We will then seek to verify the validity of the authorisation further to ensure it is compliant. If this stage is passed, then the second stage is verification, face-to-face, as an RFD at the address and with the person named on your authority.
