The Buck Stockman Folding Knife is nicely made and shows a compact design which carries three good quality blades. At under 4” long and weighing in at just 3oz, the Stockman is definitely pocket-sized. With the non-locking blades all being less than 3” long, it is U.K. legal which is always a bonus. That said, you should not be carrying it if you do not have a good reason and are not in a location where it is deemed necessary. The three blades consist of a 2¾” drop point, 2” spey and 2” sheepsfoot. They are available in a choice of steels and I found the sharpness as well as the hardness excellent. With these three options, this Buck is good for a wide range of applications, from skinning to cutting clean precise lines, making it a true all-purpose knife.
The woodgrain handle includes some nice bolsters and is well made, plus it is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand while doing detailed work. Overall this is a nice little tool, the blades are all very sharp and the whole thing is very well put together. It also comes with the companies Forever Warranty for extra peace of mind. The price is very reasonable and you definitely get lots of Buck for your bucks.
