Rowan Single-Shot Loading Clip (SSL)

story continues below...

Manufactured from Delrin, the loader simply slides into the right side of the magazine housing and is held in place by a small grub screw located on the rear face. However, unlike most of their clips it doesn’t open automatically when the rifle is cocked. Reason being the indexing mechanism won’t allow for this, so it’s designed to be manually operated by a catch positioned on its lower front side. Then, the loading arm is lifted over and a pellet thumbed into its chamber. Closed, the loader holds the pellet precisely in line for loading and removes misalignment issues. It takes quality pellets under 8.5mm long and is available in .177 and .22. The reason many shooters prefer clips to a magnetic loading tray is that the pellet can slightly tilt as it moves forward, so running the risk of damage as it’s chambered! There’s no disputing a Rowan clip makes loading single pellets easier and more consistent. Not forgetting it’s going to be a sure fire hit with HFT competitors!
