Rowan SSL Clip for FX Impact

Rowan Engineering supply spring-loaded, single-shot loading (SSL) clips for a variety of popular pre-charged airguns. They have recently designed a slightly different type, which is compatible with the FX Impact. It is not spring-assisted; however, just like the others, is manufactured from Delrin, a tough and high tensile, type of plastic. The unit is inserted into the right-hand side of the airgun’s magazine housing. The loading arm can be lifted manually downwards, where it will stay open under its own weight. A pellet can then be thumbed into the exposed chamber located on the arm and then closed. It is held securely in place via an internal magnet and the pellet is then precisely lined for probing directly into the chamber, minimising any chance of damage. The system works with quality pellets under 8.5mm in length and is available in .177 and .22. A reason some prefer an SSL clip to a magnetic, single-shot loading tray is because the pellet can sometimes slightly tilt as it moves along the tray and therefore be damaged as it enters the chamber, potentially effecting accuracy.
