Silva Ranger Head Lamp

Compact, head-mounted lamps are must-have items for your hunting pack or vehicle. They offer a small and directable beam for all manner of chores from clearing a rifle to changing a tyre at night. Adding to this massive pool of equipment is the new Ranger from Silva.

Weighing in at just 75-grams the Ranger is an all-in-one design with the single AA battery inside the green lamp head. One comes fitted and a spare is also included. Attachment is by an adjustable/elasticated head band. There are five LEDs – four white and one red all inside a lens which is surrounded by a protective, rubber rim. Operation is by a single, top-mounted, multi-function pressure switch.

Press once – red, second full power white LEDs, third medium power white, fourth low power white. Fifth flashing/strobe white light and sixth flashing red. Press and hold to turn off/re-set. Run time is 20-hours and the lamp head swings through 135º. Light and easy to use this is an effective and practical system.
