The ‘Alpha’ Gun rest is a great ‘thinking outside the box’ product that is a neat solution to an everyday problem, what to rest your gun on. The hard cordura wrapped polymer ‘A’-shaped panels have non-slip, rubberised panels in the U-notch on top and both feet below. The flat assembly is held closed with a Velcro fastener, which doubles up to lock the unfolded A-Frame into shape, latched below the front side. With 220x150 mm or 310x180 mm stance over the feet, you don’t need to worry about them falling sideways and the rubber feet give assured grip on your shooting bench for a solid, supported position. Just in case you want everything to hand, there is also a 3-slot elasticated ammo pouch on the nearside that is within easy reach of the non-shooting hand.
