Bore Tech Eliminator Bore Cleaner

There are loads of rifle cleaning products available from a selection of wellknown manufacturers. One of those is the American company Bore Tech Inc, who have been going since 1997 and live by the motto ‘targeting accuracy and distinguishing ourselves from the competition’. Their range of pistol, shotgun and rifle cleaning lines include; patches, lubes/ preventatives, rods, jags, bore brushes, chamber mops and much more. They also offer a selection of popular, and very effective bore cleaners including their Black Powder Solvent, Moly Magic, Chamelion Gel, Shotgun or Rimfire Blend, Copper or Carbon Remover and Eliminator Bore Cleaner. The latter represents a good all-round product that is designed to remove moly fouling, carbon, lead and copper. It is also environmentally friendly, contains no ammonia or harmful toxins and does not have a strong odour. Once applied, it uses chemical surfactants to loosen carbon deposits while neutralizing corrosive residues, helping to prevent corrosion and rust. It tackles copper by oxidizing it and suspending it in the cleaning solution so that it can be easily removed. Unlike a lot of other cleaners on the market, it cannot damage the bore, so it can be left there for as long as needed for it to do its job. At the end of the cleaning process, and once all the residue has been patched out, a final application can help prevent rust for up to two weeks.
