Storm Tactical Precision Rifle Data Books

story continues below...

If you take your shooting seriously, then keeping records is essential. Equally so is noting how things went on the day, as to what you encountered etc. Sure, you can use an A5 note pad, but keeping it more professional, and for that matter practical, is Storm Tactical with their Precision Rifle Data books. Essentially they offer a way of accurately noting and storing the information you have generated or learned. The most basic is spiral bound and measures 3.5x5x.75”, so handy for your pocket or butt bag. A bit more formal and all-weather is the larger version that comes in a Coyote brown Cordura nylon zipper case, with snap ring binders allowing you to replace pages. Also included, is a waterproof note book and Sharpie pen. More for your drag bag’s general compartment this one, as it measures 9 x 6.5 x 1”. Sampling the books shows; comeups, dedicated cold bore, technical reticle hold, cold bore/zero, zero calls, head, hostage, stationary torso, blank target, movers, unknown distance, long range, range card, field sketch, observation log, round count, USMC click and wind charts. At the back are range estimation formulas and a Mil-Dot chart with Mil and inch subtensions. Finally formulas for uphill/downhill shooting, an angle and cosine chart and a wind value clock.
