Trinity Force Alpha Stock

Trinity Force continues to impress with its growing range of highly cost-effective AR15 accessories and furniture. Last month we looked at their rubber, over-moulded pistol grip, which was probably as good as comparable Magpul and similar designs but for a mere £15. On test here is their Alpha Stock for CAR15/M4-type carbines. The build is modern and competitive and not just another Rock River Arms clone. More L-shaped it’s quite trim with a skeletonised web in front of the butt plate. Trinity have opted for a rubber recoil pad with deep cross slots that really grips in the shoulder. Inside the web is an ambidextrous, steel Q/D sling swivel mounting tube just forward of this is the small locking catch that controls the plunger that engages with the buffer tube to give length adjustment. Another practical feature is a double-injected, rubber cheekpiece and comb section. This not only feels a tad more facefriendly but also reduces the resonance of firing and the buffer moving back and forth in the tube.

For the money this is a very impressive design; modern and minimalistic, visually pleasing and it will not break the bank; what’s to complain about?
