If there’s one thing nobody can argue with, it’s that headlamps give you the freedom to have both hands free. With Streamlight’s new Double Clutch USB LED headlamp, now you also have the ability to charge your light on the go, as it recharges via USB.

The Double Clutch is Streamlight’s first rechargeable headlamp and can be repowered using the included USB battery or optional AC wall-adapter. An additional benefit is its ability to run on three AAA alkaline batteries as a backup power source.

This low-profile headlamp is both dual-function and dual-output; its rotating face cap shifts the light to a spot or flood beam, and between high and low modes. Having both spot and flood modes in one light means you’re covered whether you need light on an object at a distance or tasks at arm’s length. Other features include:

* Easily rotatable face cap, even when wearing gloves

* 60-degree tilting head

* Locking battery case
