MF stands for Medium Folder, and it is designed to sit between the Extrema Ratio BF series (Basic Folder) and their Heavy Duty Folder series (MPC, Nemesis, Fulcrum II and Rao).
All MF knives have plain edged N690 blades. The circular milling on their handle makes it easier to change the grip position from front to reverse grip, and they are equipped with a glassbreaker at the rear. All models feature a reversible spring steel clothing clip.
The MF1 BC has all the features of the MF1, but with the addition of a belt cutter (hence the BC). The belt cutter is at the base of the handle and contains an industrial box-cutter blade that can easily be bought on the market and replaced if blunted.
The main difference between the MF1 and the MF2 model is that the latter has a sub hilt ‘trigger grip’ which makes the hold extremely stable, and an easy open facility.
Watch out for a full test in the near future.
