Jack Pyke’s range of various knives is extensive and includes over 20 different models, from skinners to their 8.5” fixed blade Savanna hunter, which even includes a sharpener. Recently, the company has added four new lock back models to the list. They all offer classic or traditional designs and compliment the company’s recently launched clothing line, as they tread firmly down the outdoorsman/countryman path. All of the blades are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and most of the models hold the same design of clip point blade and open with a generous thumb nick. Apart from one, all come with a quality brown leather belt pouch. The Classic knife (pictured) features a rosewood handle, brass bolsters and is the largest of the group with a 3 ¼” blade. The Dalesman features a 2 ½” blade and stands out due to its rosewood and stainless scenic handle, which includes a country scene incorporating either a deer, fish or pheasant.
The Rambler has a highly polished wood handle with steel bolsters and includes a 2 ½” drop point blade. Unlike the others, it only comes with a black nylon sheath. Last but not least is the Shires, which is the most expensive out of this selection. It is definitely one of the most stylish, due to its rosewood handle having exclusive designs crafted into the wood grips. These include a choice of scenes depicting either a; deer, fish, pheasant or hunter. It also has a 3” blade and a laser-etched steel bolster to further improve its looks.
