Berwick Tweed Shooting Vest
- Last updated: 22/11/2024
Farlows are an epic brand and there is a reason they have been surging from strength to strength for almost 200 years. Attending their new clothing line launch in London a few weeks ago beautifully exhibited the passion of their design and sales team, as well as the elegance and durability of their garments.
Redesigned for Autumn 2024, this Tweed Shooting Vest is super hardwearing and practical, and makes sure you cut quite a figure in the line. It’s a very stylish option for early-season shoot days when a full coat would leave you roasting after the walk to your first peg, but it can also function as an underlayer.
This vest has been available for some time in their core Green Herringbone Tweed, but new for this season is the Orange Shepherds Check Tweed. This high-twist sporting lambswool tweed is designed to be robust yet lightweight, weighing just 545g/m2. Made using worsted woollen yarns, it’s a mixture of sandy bracken browns and greens with a red and orange overcheck.
The pattern and colours are unique to Farlows. This jacket features Alcantara shoulder patches, tipping on pocket entry, and lining to the Nehru collar.
