Sure Shot Target Gloves Review: A Look at the ISSF and 3D Mesh Models
- Last updated: 13/08/2025
Target gloves have become a must-have accessory for many competitive-minded shooters, whether they are shooting indoor 10m, HFT, or Field Target. One dealer that has been at the vanguard for shooting kit across the board is Sureshot Airguns, and their new selection of gloves has all bases covered. On show here are two newly revised target gloves in the line-up, and the quality is hard to fault.

The ISSF Full Finger Target Glove features a generous casing of rubber grip material, which is actually formed from small rubber pyramids. The grip is wrap-around, save for the inside of the bottom two fingers, meaning the high-grade leather shell is the contact point here. A band of stretchy neoprene runs across the base of the fingers, allowing for some flexibility, and the glove features a simple pull-on fit at the wrist. The result is a wonderfully supportive glove with a great degree of stiffness and incredible grip, which effectively adds strength to the lead hand in the heat of competition. Whether adopting the classic fist to support the rifle for a standing shot, or planting the hand on a tree, mid-HFT course, this glove just brings confidence and stability to the party.

A super-stylish alternative comes in the form of the new 3D Mesh Leather Full Finger Target Glove, and this has less rubber on the inside of the fingers, so more sensitivity is allowed. Again, high-quality leather is used for the grip area, but here, the back of the glove features a part-exposed mesh design, alongside the same rubber grip material, bringing a subtle change in flexibility. This glove also features a split wrist design and a neoprene wrist strap, making it slightly easier to put on and take off.

Field Target shooters are well catered for, as the ISSF glove is also available in FT spec, where the index finger, middle finger and thumb are cut down and exposed, allowing for easy manipulation of the scope’s parallax dial or side wheel. Likewise, the 3D Mesh glove is available in this configuration, and both designs can be ordered as a left-hand glove for right-handed shooters, or vice versa.

Either way, these Sureshot target gloves are quality accessories, designed for shooters who want to maximise performance.GM
