Stock accessories from Beartooth Products

› Beartooth accessories are neatly made from neoprene and come in a multitude of colours and patterns to suit your style. I tried out three products to get a feel for the quality.
The recoil pad kit stretches over the butt of your gun and comes with four foam spacers to fit internally, allowing you to extend the length of pull up to an inch and further dampen recoil. There are rubberised dots on the cover to aid grip, and this kit is ideal for shorter guns or for shooters wanting a bit more recoil absorption.
The Stock Guard and Comb Raiser kit share similarities and stretch over the entire butt of the gun. The Stock Guard protects the stock while also providing a warmer, vibration/sound-deadening layer between your face and the firearm. Meanwhile, the Comb Raiser builds on this by incorporating six elasticated ammunition loops suited to centrefire cartridges and five foam spacers, which together can raise the cheekpiece by up to 1.5” for improved scope alignment.
All of the products appear tough and durable, with an inherent stretch and flexibility that allows them to conform to the contours of your gun. Their rubberised internal surface ensures they remain securely in place during use.
Fitting requires a bit of patience and effort to manoeuvre everything into place, but once secured, it is well worth it, as the products perform exactly as advertised without adding unnecessary bulk. GM
